. PFF Chief inaugurated AFC Instructors� Refereeing Course 2005
May 24 : Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)�s President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat inaugurated AFC Regional Member Association Instructors� Refereeing Course (Central and South Asia) at Jinnah Sports Complex, Pakistan Sports Board, Islamabad today.

Pakistan gets the honor of hosting the Course, the first of its kind, from 24 � 28 May 2005 due to fine interest of Faisal Saleh Hayat who is also Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs & Northern Areas.

India�s Milan Datta is conducting the course as chief referee. Ali Mohammad, Saeed Bujsaim (UAE), Mohammad Nazri Abdullah
(Malaysia) are three instructors. AFC selected Bangldesh�s Manirul Islam, Abul Mansur, Bhutan�s Gagan Rai, Ratan Rai, India�s John D�Costh, Michael Andrwes, Iran�s Hossein Asgari, Masoud Enayat, Kyrgyzstan�s Viktor Kolpakov, Sri Lanka�s A.M.Yapa, N. Wickramathunga, Turkmenistan�s Eldar Ramazanov and Uzbekistan�s Babur Khaydarov for the coming course at Pakistani capital. Four Former FIFA referees of Pakistan, Atiq Rehmatullah, Shahid Khan, Naeem Zaidi and Farid Ullah Khan will attend the course as observers.

Malik Muhammad Ajmal Khan, Federal Minister for Culture, Sports and Tourism, will be chief guest during closing ceremony when five-day course will conclude on 28 May.

June 17 : Arif Rahim, Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)�s Marketing Director, has announced the prizes to be given on the concluding day of National Bank Football Cup 2005 � a three-test series between Pakistan and India.

Player of the Series (Pakistan only) : Rs. 50,000 ( By Chen One), Rs. 25,000 ( Faisal Bank )
