| RECOMMENDED GUIDELINES: 1) Upon agreement between Diane S. Franco and Client re: service and rate, Client is strongly advised to always submit a WRITTEN BRIEF on the project before briefing, including information on content. This is standard practice in the advertising industry. Verbal Instructions given also by telephone are discouraged. Furthermore, a producer and/or director is encouraged to attend briefings, too. This is to make sure that job delineations and responsibilities are clear. The job of the writer is also very different from that of an account executive, project coordinator, producer, technician, stage designer or secretary. 2) Any additional services apart from writing will require separate fees, as openly agreed by BOTH parties. Without this mutal agreement, Client will immediately be advised in order to avoid confusion. 3) Any changes made on copy or script must be revised by Diane S. Franco after the 1st draft has been submitted. This is to the protect both parties and to preserve the dignity of the job. All jobs are regarded as real jobs, not as sideline and/or hobby. In standard ad agency practice, the Creative Director attends to the performance and work of his creative team that include all copywriters, artists, visualizers and Art Director, etc., while the Account Manager sees to it that the job is not passed on to competition without due process and notice. 4) All edit jobs from a script or copy job not previously assigned to Diane S. Franco are still treated as a full writing job with full standard fees, unless agreed upon by both parties. 5) A copy of the final/master copy of the edited AVP material shall be requested and provided by Client on VCD format. THANK YOU. |
