dextbot is a washingtonian producer who has been dabbling in electronic music production since october 2011. in late 2013 he finally released something to the public - under the name the third alias he released a remix of "come on" by the hives for a contest on indaba music. he didn't win, but it helped pave the way for his future works.

in 2015 and 2016, he started releasing a few tracks: "sunday evening", a calm ambient track with a driving hip hop beat; "streetlight", a slow house-ish jam that would serve as the soundtrack to a night in the city; "mount", an experimental track that is made up of many microsamples; and "five", a track reminiscent of the works of UK electronica duo boards of canada.

dextbot plans on releasing an EP around June-July 2016 influenced by the recent 80s revival and other assorted materials.
