| Heaven or Bust! We are bound to an eternal destination based upon our personal acceptance and or personal denial of Christs sacrifice for us. There is an eternal pre-ordained destiny and inheritance in each human being that has ever been or will be born. This was granted accessibility due to Christs works at the cross. "in Him we have also obtained an inheritance, that was predestined according to the purpose of Him." Ephesians 1: 11 A sinner also carries the destiny inside of them without obtaining it because they are blind and dead to it. There is only one means by which a man, woman, boy, or girl can obtain their divine destiny and inheritance. That my friend is through the acceptance of the supreme sacrifice of Christ Jesus our Lord. My friend, a sinner is not destined for Hell but bound to Hell. Just as sin binds its practitioners in invisible spiritual chains and repetative behavior in their sin, failing to accept Christ as Savior and Lord leaves one bound to Hell. Just as the parable of the sower and countless other passages indicate, Satan wishes to detour you and steal you away from the cross. Just as indicated in Hebrews 6, there is no covering for your sin when you return to your old ways after accepting Christ. You need the blood re-applied to your life. Dont worry! When you do mess up or fall, you always have access to the throne... My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:1-2 Yes. Jesus came to earth as a man showing us that it is possible to live without continually sinning. The Bible speaks of Him being our ultimate example. We are to imitate Christ in His recorded habits. Christ lived his life without sinning at all. Though we can through Christ conquer the bondages of sin, we still within ourselves retain the fatal sin disease. Aging and death are a result of the fatal sin disease introduced to us by Satan in the garden. And so with that said, we all do have sin. But, the personal acts of sin are still conquerable. We were once all bound for Hell. The world is bound for Hell. But, you can all be bound for Heaven. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn it but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 Jeremy Brown 2003 |
