How do you know if something is from God?
Well. God will not ask us to do something that we can do on our own. God asks for impossible tasks in where we can only rely upon him to accomplish the tasks He sets before us.

When God gives us a goal, a plan, or a promise, He places it on our hearts and in our spirits to make us hungry for Him and His will. When we begin to have a zeal and desire for God's will for our lives, God asks us to die to it so that He can then deliver to us His promise.

God shows it. We desire it.
God says wait. We die to it.
Then God delivers.

Abraham and Isaac.

After God delivers, we are closer to Him, more dead to the flesh, and more passionate for the things we should be passionate for.
