Public School and Religion

The weblinks below are to a law firm called The American Center for Law and Justice. You will find that these men and women are dedicated to supporting free expression of religion world-wide. Know that the American Civil Liberties Union fully opposes the American Center for Law and Justice. The ACLJ has a smaller bank account than the ACLU but is not less successful. Presently, the ACLJ's headquarters are in Washington, DC. I, Jeremy Brown of Kentucky, USA, do fully support all endeavors of The American Center for Law and Justice. Explore their website at www.aclj.org. When in the public school arena as a professor, administrator, teacher, or other worker, never forget that "acknowledgement is not endorsement," "you do not shed your rights to free speech when you walk on campus," and "you may speak concerning religious matters, offer personal opinions, but you should try to never say that the student should/must accept what you say as truth or fact concerning religious or philisophical matters." This being said, this does not restrict you in a complete capacity but allows you to retain your beliefs while not making your words mandatory for the listener in the particular setting. Again, acknowledgement is not endorsement.
