Pelagianism

Pelagius (356-418AD) was a celt who came to Rome and became well learned in Stoicism, Latin, Greek, and the scriptures. He however made several theological errors. See below:

1. Even if Adam had not sinned, he would have died.
2. Adam's sin harmed only himself, not the human race.
3. Children just born are in the same state as Adam before his fall.
4. The whole human race neither dies through Adam's sin or death, nor rises again through the resurrection of Christ.
5. The (Mosaic Law) is as good a guide to heaven as the Gospel.
6. Even before the advent of Christ there were men who were without sin.

These six assertions were the reasons as to why the Church declared him excommunicated.
Catholic Bishops Augustine and Jerome both saw to it being done.

Though I congratulate them on their endeavor, I do not embrace their full opinions concerning grace.

Jeremy Brown and Loxley Ministries believe the following:
1.
If Adam had not sinned, he would have never died.
2
. Sin has been passed onto all men because of Adam liken unto a spiritual disease with only one cure, Christ.
3. Considering the age of accountability, I believe someone who does not know the difference between right and wrong are in a time of "grace" until they know the difference between good and evil. Yet, they bear the 'sin disease' which has been passed from Adam.
4. The whole human race dies through Adam's sin and death and can only rise again through the resurrection of Christ if they are saved.
5. The (Mosaic Law) is a good guide for moral living but is in no means superior to Christ.
6. There has never been a man, other than Christ, who was without sin.

Genesis 2:15-17, Deuteronomy 1:39, Isaiah 7:16, Romans 3:10, Hebrews 4:15, James 4:17, Hebrews 9:22, 1 Corinthians 15:20-22

Conclusion:
Though I disagree with proto-Calvinist and Calvinist logical designs of God, I believe there is a balance between the two extremes.

If one believes a part of the TULIP, it does not make them Calvinist nor Semi-Calvinist.
If someone believes that a person can listen to or ignore the tugging of the Holy Spirit, it does not make the person Pelagian nor Semi-Pelagian.
If someone believes in the Trinity, it does not make them one point Catholic nor Semi-Catholic.

There were early Christians that believed just as I stated in my replies to Pelagianism.
