| Faith Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 God has given to every man a measure of faith. Romans 10:23 For therein the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Romans 1:17 Faith = 1)believing 2)trusting 3)opposite of doubt and unbelief For we walk by faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 Godly Faith & True Faith = Trusting God no matter what you see. Note: Faith is not a magical power or magical quality. Faith is believing and trusting. Faith in relationships increases as you get to know a people. The more you get to know them, the more you trust them. It is the same with God. The more you get to know Him, the more you trust Him. Faith is a spiritual shield for those who are Saved. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Ephesians 6:16 Faith is a gift of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:9 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (self-control): against such there is no law.
