Dreams and Visions

An ancient Hebrew prophecy:
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Joel 2:28

The prophecy fulfilled and continues into present day:
But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:   And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Acts 2:16-18

God gave Joseph and Daniel the ability to interpret dreams and visions:
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.
Genesis 41:15
As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
Daniel 1:17

There is no book to buy and no seminar to attend to become able to interpret dreams. However, Holy Spirit Baptism and the accompanying giftings of discernment, word of wisdom, and word of knowledge will make able a child of God to provide or receive the interpretation directly from the Holy Spirit.

I recommend asking your pastor, evangelist, or elders of the church for dream and vision interpretations. After you do, all parties included can join together in prayer and ask the Lord for the interpretation.

Not all dreams and visions mean something. Not all dreams and visions are from God. Most of the time, dreams are just regular dreams and are not supernatural.

Dreams can come from God or demons or simply be natural. If it is demonic, then it should be rebuked. If it is natural then it has no interpretation.

Visions from God alone need to be interpreted. Any others simply need to be rejected or rebuked.

Remember to take counsel with church leaders as to how to handle dreams and visions. In the meantime, a vision, dream, or leading from God will coincide with the Bible.
