Ripper Roo

(You must come in first place in all four races found at N. Sanity Beach. Only then can you challenge Ripper Roo)

You're back in Roo's Tubes, but this time you're not racing against seven other characters. It's just you and Ripper Roo. This boss shouldn't be too tough. The best way to dodge all those TNT boxes being thrown at you is to stay in front of Ripper Roo for as long as possible. If you're having trouble getting ahead, pick up some power ups and shoot Roo down. The weapon of choice for this fast paced battle will be your homing missiles. And remember to pick up ten of those apples to give your weapons that extra punch. Cross the finish line ahead of your opponent and you will be awarded with a key.

Papu Papu

(You must come in first place in all four races found at The Lost Ruins. Only then can you challenge Papu Papu) 


Papu Papu can be a very tough adversary. First and foremost, watch where he is tossing those red and green flasks. Avoid them at all costs. As always, the safest place on the raceway will be ahead of Papu Papu. Pick up as many missiles as possible and constantly fire them at the enemy while you try pass him up. Remember to pick up ten of those apples to give your weapons that extra punch. Cross the finish line ahead of your opponent and you will be awarded with a key.

Komodo Joe

(You must come in first place in all four races found in Glacier Park. Only then can you challenge Komodo Joe) 

Komodo Joe is an easy victory. If you're an exceptional racer, if you get out in front of Joe, you should be able to stay in front of him. The hardest part of the race is dodging all the TNT and Nitro boxes. As always, use those missiles to slow Komodo Joe down and pass him up. Keep on picking up those power ups and leaving them behind for Joe to stumble over. Remember to pick up ten of those apples to give your weapons that extra punch. Cross the finish line ahead of your opponent and you will be awarded with a key.

Pinstripe

(You must come in first place in all four races found at Citadel City. Only then can you challenge Pinstripe)

Pinstripe is the hardest boss in the game next to Nitrus Oxide. Pinstripe has very good aim and if you don't keep moving from side to side on the track his bombs will clobber you. As always, pick up as many missiles as possible and constantly fire them at Pinstripe while you try pass him up. Remember to pick up ten of those apples to give your weapons that extra punch. Cross the finish line ahead of your opponent and you will be awarded with a key.

Nitrus Oxide

(Defeat Pinstripe and Nitrus Brio will challenge you.  After you collect a relic for every race, Nitrus Oxide will challenge you again for the final time. ) 

Nitrus Oxide is worthy of being the ultimate racer.   He is very difficult to defeat.  Oxide will throw numerous items at you such as bombs, TNT and nitro boxes, and bottles. As always, pick up as many missiles as possible and constantly fire them at Oxide while you try pass him up.  Once you get in front of him, if you hit every turbo arrow, you should be able to stay ahead. Remember to pick up ten of those apples to give your weapons that extra punch. Cross the finish line ahead of your opponent and you will have finished the game.
