| To register, you must re-register in the Netplay thread. To register, list your server name, your character, and you AIM name. If you dont have an AIM name, then check the thread often so that we can contact you. -ALL CHARACTER GAMESHARK CODE MUST BE ON!!! NO OTHER CODES!!!! *-The Item Select cheat is not to be used, nor is the secret stage. The only cheat applicable is the character select cheat. -Two out of three games -Five lives. *-You must belong to the board that you registered at. For this tournament, that is GameFAQS *-If a lag, such as playing at a speed of below 45 FPS occurs, then restart the match. This lag must be determined within the first death, and no cheap stuff like, I'm about to die and now I'll determine that there is a lag. We have to go by honor here. If it persists, go to a new server, or do this: press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, the go to processes, then right click pj64k, then set priority to High -If a desync occurs, you must pause (Yes, Pause!) and declare that a desync has occured. Determine whether or not it has indeed occured, and then determine the point at which it occured (Before or after someone died, etc.). Restart, and proceed to kill yourselfs until the amount of lives was the same as it was. Again, no cheap crap, I wont tolerate it. If it persists, determine how it is desyncing (IE, someone not having a code on), and fix it. -Decide betwen the two of you which stage. -You will not be able to switch characters at any time during the tournament. -The both of you must report the scores either to me at DewMonkeyBoy on AIM, on the thread at the below link, or diretly to me in one of the servers, I.E., you talk to me if you see me after your done playing. BOTH players must do this! Also, to report the score, you need to give: 1) Match Number 2) Winning Player 3) Losing Player -If you decide to not show up on your Match day and date, then you forfiet your match. -Not sure how we'll orchestrate the times and stuff, seeing as everyone's on a different time zone... hmm... post in the thread if you have suggestions. We could do it so that we try to arrange a time based on the GameFaqs clock, then AIM each other to make sure that they are there, and what time it is. I dunno, tho... I guess if you talk with them AIM you should get a feeling on how far off they are from you. -If an outsider, someone not in the tourney, decides that they would like to join your game's partyline, politely tell them that you are in a tournament, and ask if they would like to play after that match is over. -Servers: Choose a server on which both players have a resonably low ping. Anything under 100 is reasonable. -No watching other players matches. It lowers the speed. -In the event of a tie, in which all three of the final contestants each win one game, have each contestant play again until someone wins twice. |
