Emulator Advances 1964 0.9.9 Page 1 Page 2
General Notes
Compatibility/Running Notes:
-This version of 1964, version 0.9.9, is not compatible with anythng else.
-The emulator doesn't crash when the host presses the "Cancel" button, or a player presses the "Leave" button on the kaillera window, but if you actually press 'X' on the kaillera windows, not the game window, it crashes. It closes the entire thing. DON'T PRESS X ON 1964 WINDOW!
-The only correct way to leave a game is to press F4 or the Stop button.
-If someone screws up, and you can't start the game, everyone is screwed
-If the host leaves, everyone else can still play.
**Native Saves Work**Once you do a cheat once, you have it forever**
-It seems that without Speed Limit, and on the Default CF, the VI/s is supossed to be 50 for the (E) version of anything. For (U), it is 60.
Chatting:
-You can't chat using a keyboard shortcut. Click and type in the box.
Features:
-To use different plugins than the default with 1964 0.9.9, you can select your plugins under Plug-ins>Change Plug-ins BEFORE you go and begin Netplay. You can configure your plugins at any time before you begin a game.
-Anything grey'ed out on the Emulation Drop-down menu on the toolbar doesn't work. Everything not-grey'ed out does. =P (Lots of options)
-You can change any plugin mid-game! (Input, Audio, Video)
Cheats:
-Disabled cheat menu during actual netplay. Cheat codes are not allowed to be modified during game play, but can be modified before start of game. You need to open the cheat menu, and select, 'Use Cheat Codes'. It's centered at the top. The host controls the cheats for the first time. Once you play someone who has cheats activated, you have those cheats on in your native save. To unactivate cheats, you need to delete your native save of the game in the Save folder of your 1964 folder.
**Do not do any cheats other than All Char and Mush King**
It will activate the cheat on your Native save, therefore transferring that cheat over to anyone you play, spreading the non-needed cheat.
Graphics:
-You need to either mess around with the Rice's graphics plugin and change it from OpenGL to DirectX and back again to see which works better, OR just use Jabo's Plugin fom PJ64 1.5. All work in Netplay. I've found that Jabo's works best.
Audio:
-You either need to use the default Schibo's plugin, or use Jabo's plugin in tandem with Jabo's RSP. Take Jabo's plugins from PJ64 1.5
