SYNOPSIS:
I was going to Malaysia alone to shoot a film (Railway) when my mother decided to accompany me. We took the Malaysia KTM train to Kuala Lumpur where I made a film of her during the journey. An intimate film made for and about my mum.

The film looks at both the interior and exterior of the window in the Malaysian KTM train car, sometimes existing together in reflections. Scenes from the windows pass through plains, trees, train stops, roads, traffic, towns and villages of Malaysia. My mother is the focus of attention.
