Stories

What's a writer without any stories? Here is a small collection of
stories I've written over the past six years. The asterisks beside
a title denotes an unfinished work. Though the majority of my stories
were works of fanfiction based on the Disney movie, Newsies, these
days find me writing soley about original characters. Such works are
more often than not sketches for future novels and short story
collections! They're listed from earliest works to my most recent.

Over thirty fanfiction stories I've written since 2002.


Ever the Sinner***
The last fanfiction I wrote. A betrayal surfaces in the borough
of Brooklyn. No one expected it to be one of Spot Conlon's own newsies.


Fragments
The first rough draft of a novel now finished at 250 pages. A 16-
year old recounts the abuse he suffered growing up at his father's hands.


The Tumbleweed Soothsayer
The first short story I attempted for my lovely character, Seth
Isaias. An orphaned boy starts working up mystic hysteria in Chateau-
Renault, France when his gift of foresight becomes popularized.


Vigilance
After the abbey where Seth grew up was burned to the ground,
he spends a rainy morning grieving.


Betrayal
An incessant flow of treachery on a long-time companion's
behalf draws Seth to at last return the favor.


Slider's Last Reign
The Rossi's in Hoboken Lodging House time. Tobias
Rossi avenges his father in one night of mayhem.


Last Goodbye***
On the last day of his leave before having to return
to active duty overseas, Lt. Col. Alfonso Rossi says what
he doesn't know will be his last goodbyes to his children.


Private First Class, Doc Conelli***
Anthony Iaconelli recounts how his companionship with
a faithful German Shepherd began while on active duty overseas.


Raising Tobias***
In all his years of parenting, Alfonso Rossi has never faced
as many challenges as raising his second son presented.

A characterization activity in which I have characters
reflect on certain objects in their room.


A Vixen's Wail
After a run-in with the goverment of Salaise, the Murchadh
Clan is targeted by certain officers and taken into custody.
Young Silas is among those captured. In his absence, his pet
fox, Onyx, laments.


A Spell's Haunting
It's been months since Seth set Eliazar free of a demon's
stronghold. This demon revisits Eliazar one afternoon, and
warns him of a truth Seth foolishly overlooked.


Solitary Thoughts & 60 Seconds
Silas Murchadh wakes up in a holding cell of Salaise's
capitol building in Violesang and reflects on events following
the Clan's capture. Meanwhile, Araxie prepares herself for a
prison breakout that will either free her Clan, or end them in
bigger trouble.


Birthright
While the Murchadh Clan hides out at a friend's house in
Alchaven, Salaise, Silas wanders into a nearby forest and
is confronted by the enigmatic words of a strange hermit.


Behind the Falcon
Brought into faucon do soir's headquarters by two agents,
Seth must decide whether or not his calling now comes from
France's central intelligence agency.


Where Pathways Diverge
When Geowyn's O'Ciardha disappears from his life without
a word, Silas shelves fear and naivety to follow her--even if
it's into death's hands. But his decision will cost him a
companionship he's had for nearly four years.


Sleight
Rae Maconochie is an FBI agent stationed in Auvernha, France.
She's at the top of her game, and has closed many a file with
her quick wit and savoir faire. However, a new assignment may
be the difference between success and utter ruin.


The Golden Rossi Rule
When Johnny Rossi learns that one of his nephews is dealing drugs
in the slums of Auvernha, he takes the first flight to France to
discipline the ever unruly Tobias.


A Rossi Enigma
Desiree Castro makes one last effort to salvage the friendship
that once radiated between her and Tobias Rossi.


Apologetics
Tobias Rossi visits Desiree Castro at her apartment to
apologize for his ill-mannered behaviour as of late. However, the
young man gets out of hand in his persistence to make amends.


Painful Goodbyes
Lance Corporal Murphy Montgomery must honor his duties as a
marine and report for deportation to Germany. Before doing so,
however, he says what might be his final goodbyes to his comatose
best friend.


An Ordinary Day in Arcadia
The Rossi Family's rise to power. Desiree and Ava's decision
to take a chance on newly developing relationships. Vanni D'Alassio's
defiance against his family, and Rhett Molony's love for the
former girlfriend of his best friend. Just another ordinary day.


Amazing Grace***
For two years, Lt. Col. Alfonso Rossi was thought dead, a
casualty of a terrorist attack in central Afghanistan. However,
when a regiment of Marine Corp Company G invades an enemy facility
in Daykundi, numerous prisoners of war are rescued. Alfonso is one
one of them. Now, all will change for the Rossi Family.

A glimpse into the many households that make up the City of
Arcadia, from mafia wars to ruined Easter dinners.


The Nights After Christmas
Araxie Ferrari is doing well with her new life in the Scarselli
household. She loves Daemon, adore's Michel's cooking, and fits in
just perfectly. She finally has the resemblance of a good life. But
when old friends from her past return to ask a favor, her loyalties
are put to the test.


Troubles
Based on the song of the same title by Ray Lamontagne. Everyone
has bad days. That's a given. Some people have absolutely horrible
days, though. Just a glimpse into the lives of characters at such times.

Andre Tagliatti, just before a meeting with long time rival
Vanni D'Alassio, ponders the ways by which the Tagliatti Family can
steadily rise to power in Auvernha.

At first, Zach Tagliatti was just another job. A project of
sorts. But in time, Lisette Chavez-Montoya finds that she simply
can't stop thinking about the boy...

Sakura Moriarty reflects upon the night she first murdered.


Coming of Age
Desiree Castro and her family have just moved to Auvernha from
Brooklyn, New York. She's befriended Tobias Rossi and Luca Iaconelli,
and finds herself taken by the latter as they grow closer together.


Fraternal Vows
Rafael Rossi was having trouble making friends. So he decided to
join a fraternity one day. Now the only problem is that he's having
trouble making trouble.


One Step Forward, Two Steps Back
Cayetano Romero-Chavez has fallen head over heels for the person
he wants to spend the rest of his life with. There's just one problem
his family has with it all. The apple of his eye is another guy...


Breaking Point
Edmund Ashby is a star thespian at Bay Ridge High School, who's
managed to steal the spotlight from the current Drama King. Now he's
being teased by this same bully, but he's not going to stand for it.


A Royal Mess
Prince Alain's life isn't normal unless he's dealing with
some breed of trouble.
