Chapter Three
Larry tried to shuffle through the university's corridors without attracting any attention.
But it was impossible. He had set his own history for being the biggest geek in the school.
He had been a fool for listening to Backstreet Boys' music in the campus, even for just a day only.
He had been considered 'cool' before. He came with the street kid, punky, hippy look, with a devotion for Eminem and other rock bands.
But one wrong move turned it all around.
Now he was constantly bullies. Gangs shoved him as they passed him by, Sneers were sent from one end of the room to the other. And Larry knew well enough that they were for him.
A twenty-one- year-old who likes the Backstreet Boys, sounds gay, doesn't it?
Even though he never listens to them in the campus ever again, the damage was done.
The class snickered as Larry walked into the classroom. The whole class was already present. Larry had tried to be as late as possible.
He knew being late still stank, but being early smelled worse than the landfill.
If he's early, he'd have to suffer through mockery for more than half an hour. Getting hit by spit balls, paper airplanes with nasty remarks on them...
At least, being late had the professor saving him.
Snickers spread across the room. Whispers of 'Homosexuall' could be heard.
Some girls smiled in sympathy for him. They thought he was hot.
Larry shrank into his seat in the last row. 'Man, this is worse than being a Backstreet Boy. At least I was being obsessed by girls most of the time.'
He tried to concentrate on his textbook, just when another sloppy spitball hit him and the professor walked in.
