I should have known better than to listen to my crazy sister Marla to go to skinny dipping at the Bath. But who will guess that it will happen. We were taking a vacation at Marla's and my Grandfather's palace, we invite our friends, too. Grandpa's really rich. What funny is- our parent aren't, at least not as rich as my grandpa.
It was late at night. Everyone was in bed, except for some maids and the caretaker. They're on duty but the immature us decided that no one will ever mind. There is something special about Grandpa's bath tub. It's more like a fantasy lake in a dream cave. It's humongous, rocky walls. The water is pretty deep, and dark. There is a cockshell boat. Beautiful paintings and scultures all over the walls and ceiling. Hidden colorful lights from everywhere It has even got the dark, mysterious yet relaxing feeling. It's like that you've entered a fairyland.
We were all making jokes, having the time of our life. Garvin and Zala were fighting for the boat. Jason and Larry were splashing each other. No one seems to take notice of the fact that no one was wearing a stitch. Yes, there were boys, but they aren't the pervie, eewie type of guys, nor are us girls. And we were pretty drunk, too. I could even see Max's dick flying. A high, screechy, chill-to-the-bone scream brought us out of our trance. Everyone had woken up. And had stopped all their crazy activities. "Where was Marla?" was the first sentence that came out of Keith's mouth after the scream. He was chasing Marla. I realized too, that Marla was missing. We all looked around. We couldn't see well through the misty, dark air. I saw some bubbles on the surface, then a hand reaching and dropped back in as fast as it came. A dark shadow crept over us. Marla's head bopped up. Her eyes wide. Hair matted. Gasping for air. Garvin tries to grabbed her but something seemed to be blocking him. This all happened in two minutes, then the water was stained with blood. Marla's blood. We were too scared to speak. We snapped ourselves out of the shock and started looking for Marla's body. Her body. I don't know what make us feel so sure that Marla was dead. But nothing was found. We had searched till daybreak. Everyone was tired as a slave dog. The water seemed to return to its own color by dawn. We stepped out of the Bath.
No one ever mentioned anything about that night ever again. We left three days after the 'accident'. My grandpa wasn't home. We told our parents that Marla had decided to leave and lived on her own, and that she won't be back for a long time. Not very convincing. Right? But us guys fake letters and photos. Maybe when time comes, we can fake a Marla, too. But I swear, everytime I passed by the Bath, I can still hear my sister's chill-to-the-bone scream.
