Wishful Thinking
A child destined to death
A life destined to end.
Everything that has been thought that would be
Seemed to stop from that moment onward.
The past has been forgotten,
The future only pondered of.
The child stands wonderingly in time
The soul the only thing remaining, wandering
Looking for another chance to live life again
Hoping so much to find it, yet never encountering the opportunity.
The child searches and searches
Wishing for that time to live again
To feel the happiness and taste the tears,
To run and play among those who are the same age,
To finish the school that had been started,
To finally live life to the fullest.
Fate has brought the child here
Fate will bring the child back.
Only fate knows
When that time will come.
