| I was born in the world of Glorantha on the 23rd day of Storm Season in the year 1595. My parents, Jonathan and Elizabeth, had four children in all. I was the second born. My eldest sister, Rebecca, died of the pox when I was three. My brother Nathaniel, Nate, is four years younger than I and my sister Trudy is 6 years younger. Mother and Father own a small house on the edge of Two Ridge in Sartar. It had belonged to Father's parents before they died of the pox the same year as Rebecca. Father is a tanner, crafting the finest leatherwork in Two Ridge, if he has to say so himself. Of course, he is the only leatherworker in town. |
