Inanimate Objects
These are just random photos a took. Whether it be nature or indoors, none of this is a person or a pet!

This is the snow out the window in the basement one time after we got a couple inches of snow. I like the shadows that the trees make on the snow and the patches of light that remain.
This is again snow out the back window, after a different snow. This picture was an experiment to see if the camera could capture on film the sparkling of snow that I found so pretty--and the answer is, yes. It does.

The hole in the wall
This is the scene out of my window after a storm that left us with about twenty inches of snow. I took the picture just because I liked the scene. Yes, those are my footprints out there; I'm the only one who could walk through all that snow.
A few months ago I got really mad at something (*coughJocecough*), and I kicked the wall. Unfortunately, it put this hole in it. It's 10 inches by 10 inches, and is still there as of now (8/23/03).

My bar in the basement

My bar in the basement
This used to be the bar in the basement that held my computer. My computer is no longer in the basement and the bar is not this messy anymore, but this is me at my worst.
The bar in the basement that same day from a different angle.

Fireworks

Tree poster
This is one of the fireworks from  Fourth of July 2002. It was in Chestertown, Maryland. This was one of the cool ones... isn't it pretty?
This is a poster that's up on the door in Mrs. Hannahs's classroom. I just thought it was really cool, so I decided to take a picture of it. I think my whole homeroom class thought I was nuts, though...

Garden of Remembrance

Cards
I went to CTY camp at St. Mary's College of Maryland and jeez was it pretty! I took some pictures while I was there... this is the Garden of Remembrance.
During Break Ix and Caitlin liked to play cards next to the fountain. Relaxing, isn't it?

Fountain

Inside the fountain
The Garden of Remembrance, including the fountain, with the lake behind it. Pretty, isn't it?
Splash! Inside the fountain.

Bird
Lake picture five. The dock.
Bird! (Different lake.) I got yelled at for taking this picture... we were walking to class. Hey, I can walk and photograph at the same time! I wanted the pretty bird...

Sunset

Framing the Past
Oh, the beautiful sunset! Now, if only I could find last year's sunset photo to match it... I love sunsets!
Framing the Past... a writing metaphor!
