| 31.07.2006 Dear All. I just came home from Paris where I've had five wonderful days with a friend of mine. We decided to go last minute, as I didn't stop working as long as I stayed at home for my vacation. I found peace. We ate lovely meals, enjoyed the fantastic weather (it was almost a bit too hot for us Norwegian girls) and the beautiful city and had a great time. I spent a whole afternoon in the nicest bookstore I have ever been to, Shakespeare and Company, where there are thousands of books from floor to ceiling, old and new. You can hang around and read as long as you want to, and frankly, you don't ever want to leave, because of the magical atmosphere. I also found some really nice dresses and a beautiful secondhand purse. Of course there was also an hour or two spent at the huge Virgin Megastore at Champs Elys�es... I discovered some great French music. And found some records on vinyl that I've wanted for a long time. Three more days before I get back on the road. Vacation is good but playing music is better.
