| Artists Unite Against Cancer Briskeby, Marit Larsen and Tone Damli Aaberge have all agreed to play during Kreftforeningen's �Krafttak mot kreft� (Kreftforeningen is the Norwegian national organization against cancer). The concert-tour is called �Lyd i m�rket� (Sound in the dark) and will take place in week 10. The concerts are free, and will be held in: Trondheim - March 4th, Oslo � March 7th, Kristiansand � March 9th, Lillehammer � March 10th and Bergen � March 11th. Before The concert starts different activities will take place. Kreftforeningen has signed a three year agreement with Norwegian radiostation P4, and this means that in 2006 the concert tour �Lyd I M�rket� will take place. This is the biggest concert arrangement ever in P4 history, and P4 are planning at least five hours of live broadcasting from each of these concerts. The money raised at these concerts will be used for research on cancer. It�s important with more knowledge to be able to make a quicker diagnosis, give a better and more effective treatment, and make sure that those living with cancer get a better life quality. Now, over 50% of those diagnosed with cancer survives. Research is our best weapon against cancer. |
