| The 100th episode featured the music of none other than Norwegian pop sensation M2M! Our very own Jason Palmer had the opportunity to ask them a few questions about their experience.
Marion's answers: ================= 1. Are you "Dawson's Creek" fan? Yes, I love Dawson Creek, I've been watching it at home in Norway. 2.Did you enjoy filming Dawson's Creek? It was so much fun. All the actors were so nice to us and we felt like we were a part of a big family. Thank you all for that. 3. What songs from your new album "The Big Room" did you perform on the show? "Everything", "Don't" and "Miss popular". 4. What was your favorite moment from your experience on the show? It would be my first time acting together with Joshua Jackson 5. How popular is "Dawson's Creek" in Norway? It's one of the biggest shows together with Friends and Ally McBeal and Sex in the City. 6. What is your favorite Dawson's Creek episode, and who is your favorite character? I love the "Joey" character. My friends say she sometimes remind them of me. Probably the temper..hehe 7. Are you currently doing a U.S. tour? This summer we will on tour opening up for Jewel in the U.S 8. In the episode, Marion thinks Pacey is cute, but Marit's not impressed. Tell us the truth... what did you guys really think of Joshua Jackson? I thought he was very nice and charming. 9. Where were you when you found out you were going to be on the show? How did you feel? I don't rememeber where I was, but it felt great! I was so happy. It was very unreal. I didn't believe it before I was standing there on the set. Marit's answers: ================= 1. Are you "Dawson's Creek" fan? I've been watching the show when I've have the chance since it started. Therefore it was a little bit more special to actually get to be in it. Only catch is Norway and the U.S. are one season apart! Confusing! :) 2. Did you enjoy filming Dawson's Creek? It was a really fun day- so laid back and easy, I only have good memories. The audience seemed to be into our music and I think they were (for real) having a good time too... ! Everybody were very nice to us and the atmosphere was great. 3. What songs from your new album "The Big Room" did you perform on the show? "Everything", "Miss Popular", and "Don't". Our songs have lyrics that are very honest and real, and I think it really suits the show. 4. What was your favorite moment from your experience on the show? Realizing how nice and down to earth all the cast and crew members were. We were at once adopted into their "family" and we felt so welcome. :) 5. How popular is "Dawson's Creek" in Norway? It's very popular, and everyone was very excited to find out we were going to be on the show. 6. What is your favorite Dawson's Creek episode, and who is your favorite character? The best episode was the one when they were all leaving for college and Dawson ended the relationship with Joey. It was heartbreaking! I think my favorite character is Jen. 7. Are you currently doing a U.S. tour? Right now we are in the middle of a promo tour through Europe, but we will be touring the United States this summer (June/July), opening up for Jewel. It's going to be wonderful to get on the road with our band and get to play some shows! 8. In the episode, Marion thinks Pacey is cute, but Marit's not impressed.Tell us the truth... what did you guys really think of Joshua Jackson? He was a really nice person, and I think he's very talented. 9. Where were you when you found out you were going to be on the show? How did you feel? | Two-minute Talk
M2M's Marit and Marion have already done the hard yards on the touring trail, so it's a good thing they just scored a holiday. We got Marit on the line to talk everything pop. What have you been up to since we spoke last? Wow, a lot! We recorded the new album, and we've been touring like crazy. We're in New York right now, and are getting excited to launch our new music. Have you had a chance to relax? We actually got a lot of time off between touring and recording. It was six long months, so it gave us a chance to feel normal again. What did you do with all that time? Well, we caught up on some school things, went shopping and just generally met up with our friends. After such a long time being away from home, we had a lot to catch up on. How did you deal with the whole school thing? We did a lot of learning on the road, a lot of learning in classes; but we're finished with school now. How did your friends treat you when you got back? They were all great! You don't realise how much you miss your friends until you're away from them for a while. I think they just think it's funny that we're getting to be pretty known and travelling around the world. Did any of them turn their backs on you because of your stardom? There are people who you wouldn't expect to turn their backs who did, and people who you would expect to turn their backs who didn't. Something like this makes you realise who your real friends are - they're the one who stick by you. What's the fan thing like now? It's pretty much the same as it was before. We've never been ambushed or anything like that - it's never been a problem. We just love our fans. Does your family treat you like a star when you get home? No Way! When I get home, it's exactly how i left it. Plus, I have to take out the garbage. |
