A Devon Rex is a medium sized cat. Devon's are a short hair cat. But the length of the hair varies between each individual cat. The coats are soft, and curly. They are often descried as 'A Perm Gone Wrong'.
They have very large ears, and wide, curious eyes. They are known as the Pixie's of the cat world.
Temperament:
Devons are very loving and affectionate. They love to be around their humans at all time, and want to be included in every activity you do. They'd rather be sitting on your shoulder, then sitting alone on a chair. They are very playful, and need a lot of attention. They are very dog-like in some of their antics. A lot of Devon owners say their cat is 'A dog in a cat suit'. They are also good with other animals.
Grooming:
Because Devons have very little hair, a daily grooming with your hand is all they need. They also need their ears cleaned, and nails clipped weekly.
"Hypo-allergenic":
Devons have a reputation to be Hypo-Allergenic. Devon's do shed, as does anything that has hair. But it sheds very little, and its fine and almost unnoticeable. It all depends on the person. Some people with allergies can live happily with a Devon, and some can not.
