I have stopped making copies of the CD. Actually, I stopped a long time ago, but couldn't find the password to log back into this site until now (idiot).

I am leaving the page up so people can get the names of the artists and songs from the movie. Click here for the the official press release, which contains more detailed information about the songs, which should make it easier to find them if you are particularly interested.

Please note (as elaborated below) that the press release mistakenly refers to That Dog's "She Looks At Me" as being in the film, when it is not. (It appears Tattle Tale's "Glass Vase Cello Case", which does, was a last minute replacement). For more information on how to acquire the Tattle Tale song, scroll on down.

If anybody is interested in taking distribution of the CD over, please email me.

But I'm A Cheerleader -- Official Soundtrack

Ordering Instructions

1. Send an email to [nobody, neither of us are doing it anymore. Sorry.]. Try to have "soundtrack" or "Cheerleader" or something in the subject line so she can tell at a glance what the message is about. Inside, state your request for the CD.

2. She will reply to your email with her mailing address and will tell you to send her a blank CD-R (74 or 80 minute, it doesn't matter), plus money to cover the cost of shipping. (If you live in Canada or the US, send $3 in Canadian or $2 in US to cover the cost of shipping. If you live outside Canada or the US, send $6 Canadian or $4 US.)

3. When she receives your CD and money, she will make the CD for you. This streamlines the entire system and ensures that we are actually breaking even instead of running a deficit, which is what happened under my old system because people forgot to pay me for the cost of shipping -- presumably because they were so enthralled by their new CDs. :)

Please note that unless you specifically request the plain music version, she will make you a copy of the enhanced CD. It plays on regular CD players and has added content (production stills, a .pdf of the official press release, and the theatrical trailer in QuickTime format) that you can enjoy in a either a Mac or PC's CD/DVD drive.

Also, due to the volume of requests we receive, we are no longer providing the snazzy CD labels and covers. It killed our ink, and hey, you just wanted the music anyway, didn't you? :) (If you are desperate for the labels and covers, stay tuned: I'll be uploading them to the website for you to download and printout yourselves.)

Of course all you really have to do is step #1, as you'll be reminded in her follow-up email what to send where.

Mission Statement

I created this to spread the joy that is the But I'm A Cheerleader soundtrack, which doesn't really exist (i.e. one was never officially released). However, after months of sleuthing on my part, and months waiting for obscure CDs to arrive from the U.S., I managed to create the soundtrack from the film! I even included the "lost" song, "She Looks At Me" by That Dog. (This song was orginally listed in the press release, but was later replaced in the film by "Glass Vase Cello Case" by Tattle Tale. By the way, "Glass Vase Cello Case" is the fantabulous "love scene" song that y'all were asking me about!

I am more than willing to burn and ship out copies of this soundtrack (at cost) to fellow Cheerleader fans. Drop me a line (no longer, sorry) if you'd like me to burn you a copy of the Enhanced CD soundtrack. This home-made Enhanced CD will play in regular CD players as a normal audio CD, but when you stick it in your CD-ROM drive it offers special bonuses, such as the theatrical trailer, dozens of hi-res production stills, and a copy of the official press release. (All of which, by the way, was once available at the official website, but as you can see by clicking on the link the site is defunct.)

If you prefer just a plain audio CD, I can make that for you too.

I'm not doing this for profit, but for the love of the movie soundtrack. Since you're providing us with the CD to use, the cost is just the cost of shipping.

Seven years ago, I acquired Tattle Tale's "Sew True" CD from its producers, by sending $10 US to:

St. Francis Records
808 3/4 N. Detroit St.
L.A., CA 90046

I would like to stress that that was seven years ago, and though I haven't had any confirmation either way, there is a good chance the CD is out of production now. But you can always send a letter to the address and see what happens.

If anybody tries this, please let me know the result so I can post that information here!

Here's my But I'm A Cheerleader soundtrack CD jacket cover.
(FYI, I created it in Adobe Photoshop, so the original is a 5 MB file. This is the slimmed down, "small enough for geocities to handle" JPEG version.)

Here's the track listings inside and/or back jacket. (Again, slimmed-down JPEG version made from the oringinal Photoshop.)
