Procedure
Time Required: 2 class period(s) of 50 minutes.
Materials and Resources used by teachers and students:
Teacher will use a worksheet/test generator to make the necessary worksheet and
test for the class. Teacher will use the whitboard for instruction.
Students will need a pen/pencil and paper to take notes and complete
assignments.
Preparation for Teacher:
Teacher will have used the necessary resources to teach the class. Teacher must
have a mastery of the subject in order to teach it.
Step by Step Teacher Procedure:
1) Introduce the class to what pronouns are.
2) Provide them with examples.
3) Do some guided practice to check for understanding.
4) Check for student mastery, then handout worksheets for individual
completion.
5) Test them on Pronouns

Assessment Plan:
The assessment plan is as follows:
1) Students will be working as a whole class and be given information on what
pronouns are and how they are used.
2) Students will be given guided practice to check for understanding.
3) Students will then be given individual worksheets to be completed.
4) Students will then be tested on their ability to identify and correctly use
pronouns.

Notes, tips, suggestions and/or extension activities:
It is important that all students are given the necessary background knowledge
before expecting them to complete the assignment on their own.
