| He had a rough Jamaican accent, but people claimed to have understood him. He sold products at the electronics store and would get loud whenever he sold anything, which was very often. People just seemed to like him. I remember walking in to the store and walking out with a new set of computer speakers. I didnt need computer speakers, I just couldnt resist his sales pitch. They were made in Jamaica, oddly enough, and perhaps I had just bought a part of his country to call my own. The speakers read Manna and I thought of the Jamaican salesman every time I looked at them. Today he was arrested for fraud; I saw it in the paper. Arrested for stealing products from his competitors across the street, and selling them for half the price. |
