Flash of steel swords sparked as the battle raged
Knights heard the trumpet signal and engaged
Blood drained from the fallen warrior�s gashes
As the once strong village is reduced to ashes
I stand on a hilltop and watch the game play
Most see it as undecided and going until day
But, I know that the victory is close at hand
In a very short time, I will be ruler of this land
My commanders start to celebrate the win

I walked away from the battle into the dark forest

There was no fight in his eyes, but more a look of zen
I drew my sword to the hush of my troops and listened
The first light of dawn hit my sword and it glistened
There in my sword was my Princess�s lovely face
I could hear Princess�s wisdom as I judged the case
I smiled to my Princess in the sword and spoke
