I hold two university degrees: A Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University and a Master of Busines Administration from University of North Texas. I have a 4.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale in computer courses...my speciality.
I am currently have the title of Project Manager with a top 50 company in the US. I am a manager of a software development team and the project lead of two enterprise critical applications. My team writes software application to assist our operations department. I promote my team as the CAN-DO team. We rarely get a project directly. We get the projects that everyone else said could not be done or could not be done in the time period needed AND WE DELIVER. Therefore, my job is high stress and moving. No two days are ever the same.
I write code in Java (1.0 or 1.1), REXX, Visual Basic, Perl, C, JavaScript, HTML (if you call it a language) and anything else that comes down the chute. I tend to specialize in cross-platforms (MVS and NT) application that uses TCP/IP.
In my spare time, I write. I love to write. It was my first love. I started my first novel in the 6th grade. I am currently under contract with the EBA Literary Agency. They have all selling rights to anything that I write. However, I write a lot for fun.
I love the great outdoors. Whether the activity is camping, fishing, hiking, swimming or just watching the beautiful sunsets, I enjoy nature. One of my most exciting experiences was when I spent a month on the Appalachian trail. I have also spent a lot of time trout fishing in Colorado.
Music.... I like lots of different types of music. The only category of music that I can not stand is Country music. I really like music from 70s and 80s pop. If you know groups like Little River Band, ABBA, Loverboy, Journey, then you know what I mean. However, I can easily be content with who range from ABBA to Metallica.
