Vector Prime:

*After leaving Fallen behind, he goes straight for the dimension that they all had their 'chat' in. It went a lot differently then he expected...for one, he didn't expect Fallen to be so /afraid/ of Primus...but all of that is besides the point. He's a little worried for his Creator, and, combined with his own actions...it makes him anxious to see that he's all right*

Vector Prime:

*And so, after closing the portal behind him-*

Vector Prime:

My liege?

Primus:

*Primus has changed position, now looking more or less as though he were reclining on the universe's largest and most comfortable couch ever.  He also has an expression on his face of... something unreadable, though it's no doubt sad.*  Mm.  Vector.  *He isn't even looking at his son, too busy going over the conversation in his head*

Vector Prime:

...

Vector Prime:

*And...maybe slightly hesitantly, moves to take a 'seat'. Which is pretty much finding a part of Primus (one of the spikes, actually) and looking in the general direction of Primus' face*

Vector Prime:

...art thou well?

Primus:

...I'm fine, Vector.  *Looks down to Vector with a half-smile on his face*  It was simply... Not particularly enjoyable, seeing Fallen like that.

Vector Prime:

...

Vector Prime:

*Slowly* ...with all due respect, my liege...what didst thou expect?

Vector Prime:

*He doesn't mean anything /mean/ by it, but he's had more encounters with Fallen since he's...well, Fallen. He's /told/ Primus about them*

Primus:

I'm not sure.  More... Fire, really.  *No pun intended!*  To terrify him to the point that I did...  It did not particularly appeal to me.

Vector Prime:

...

Vector Prime:

Mm.

Primus:

I most likely shouldn't have raised my voice around him, either, but you really can't kill your brother.  *An almost scolding look, but not quite - he can't be mad at Vector for being himself*

Vector Prime:

*Slight cringe, but it's more embarrassed than anything else* I...have a habit of losing mine temper when thou art insulted, Primus. *A bit more earnestly* It is something I -do- try to work on, but yet when he had the gall to /sayest/ such words...

Vector Prime:

He....*trails off. What can he say?*

Primus:

His opinions are his own, and we can't begrudge him that, Vector.  If he wishes to follow Unicron...  *A sigh*  ...We simply must let him.  Either he'll come back to us on his own, or... he won't.

Vector Prime:

*Quietly* I fear he wilt not. Unicron hast corrupted him to the very Spark.

Primus:

Unicron has the tendency to do that.  *Dryly, then-*  But I need to believe in him.  He's always been... *Sighs*  Unicron is a nuisance.

Vector Prime:

*Flatly, making it quite clear that there is no love lost* To sayest the least.

Primus:

Eventually, something will change.  It's happened before, and it will happen again.

Vector Prime:

And until then?

Primus:

...I'm never quite sure what will happen in the meantime.  But we simply have to be patient, and take what we are given.  I'm sure something will come up for our benefit.  *Smiling slightly*  Maybe I should just continue my dinner plans until someone gives me that something we need.

Vector Prime:

*Seems to perk up at that* Dinner, my liege?

Vector Prime:

*There's -no- cooking like Primus cooking*

Primus:

*Chuckles*  I've been having a few of the Cybertronians up for dinner.  Really, only Starscream so far, but Megatron has accepted an offer.  Grudgingly, yes, but still the fact remains.  Perhaps more of them, as time moves on.  Optimus, perhaps.  *Smiles at Vector, noting the perk*  You know you're welcome to come as well, any time you'd like to have something to eat.

Vector Prime:

The mortals? *Headtilts at that...but nods after a moment* All who dine with thee find it a most welcome experience. *Yes, he's including himself there, and is very happy to know that that's in his future. His -near- future*

Primus:

Yes, Vector, the mortals.  And, Starscream certainly enjoyed his enchiladas.  I can imagine I'll have to make something a bit more for Megatron, as he seems so opposed to having dinner with me at all, but I'll think of something.  *Yes, your near future!  Primus always has time for making food!*

Vector Prime:

A cake, mayhaps? *Because that take-out he has from time to time just doesn't cut it when it comes to wanting dessert :|*

Primus:

...Maybe.  I'm not much of an expert on most deserts, but he does seem like a cake sort of person, wouldn't you say?  *And that look on his face clearly indicates that he totally knows Vector wants some for himself, and he will totally make enough for him.*

Vector Prime:

*...was he that obvious? You know, on second thought, he doesn't mind either way, smiling a little sheepishly* I wouldst not know, my liege. I do know that Optimus seems to have taken an interest in cooking - perhaps thou shouldst ask of him?

Primus:

...That's not a bad idea, Vector.  *Smiles*  And of course, I'll run over some ideas with you, so you can tell me what I should make extra of.  *:3*

Vector Prime:

If such is thy will. *Soooomeone is a Very Happy Demigod. Best news he's heard in Vorns!*

Primus:

....*Pauses, and then-* ...Silly question, I know, but do you think Fallen likes cake?

Vector Prime:

........

Vector Prime:

*Deadpan* Only if it be-eth made of the blood if innocents.

Primus:

Oh, hush.

Vector Prime:

Thou asked. At any rate, wert thou to sendest him some - I do not believe he would consume it. Unicron, mayhap.

Vector Prime:

But then, he be-eth not picky in what he eats.

Primus:

No, he certainly isn't.  *Mildly annoyed at the idea of a present for Fallen getting consumed by Unicron instead*  I really should have a talk with that planet.

Vector Prime:

Mm.

Vector Prime:

*Sigh*

Vector Prime:

I knoweth that there dost need be a balance, Primus...but Unicron goeth too far, at times. *Beat* Many times.

Primus:

I know that.  He shouldn't have gotten involved with yours and Fallen's fight, and he's pestered the Cybertronians far more often than I care to think of.

Vector Prime:

*Grim smile* For all the times he hast, many times they hast proven themselves as thine children.

Vector Prime:

*Read: They've kicked his ass*

Primus:

They have.  *His smile isn't nearly as grim*  Which is why I feel safe in not participating as much with them as I might have, otherwise.  I suppose some of them see that as abandonment, but...  *Shakes his head*  No matter.

Vector Prime:

*Snorts lightly at that*

Vector Prime:

Thou hast given them all that they need.

Vector Prime:

*Expression softens a bit* Thou wouldst have given them more, but...*trails off*

Primus:

...They've been doing well on their own.  *His expression is slightly sad, nonetheless*

Vector Prime:

*Nod. And, obviously trying to cheer Primus up* They couldst be doing a lot worse. And now thou art feeding them? They wilt soon be spoiled!

Primus:

*Chuckles*  So long as I don't start inviting everyone up for dinner, I don't think it will hurt too much.  Then again, I suppose I haven't made myself as... available as I possibly could have been.  Unfortunate, but things go as they will.

Vector Prime:

Send the rest the leftovers?

Primus:

*Gives Vector an amused look*  But then, what will there be to give you?

Vector Prime:

*Opens his mouth to say something...then closes it. Well, can't protest /that/. His wry amusement is mostly at himself* Thou art truly wise, Primus.

Primus:

I do try.  *Sighs, looking upwards - not for any view, just for the motion of looking "away" - and then back to Vector*  I don't know what to do about these situations that keep popping up, unfortunately, so I must not be incredibly wise.

Vector Prime:

Do as thou wilst. *Gets to his feet, slowly* Despite Unicron's interference, the realities that thou hast had a hand in do wonderfully. For all that be-eth bad in them, there be-eth just as much if not more good.

Vector Prime:

The mortals make thine own choices. As dost Fallen. And Unicron. For what it be-eth worth, I hath never regretted mine to stay with thee.

Primus:

*Smiles at Vector, honestly pleased by the demigod's statement*  Thank you, Vector.

Vector Prime:

*Makes a full-out elegant bow, tucking one arm in front and one behind, wings spreading out to their full size before folding as he straightens again* The honor be-eth mine.

Primus:

I'm glad that you haven't grown tired of me yet, at least.  *A little dry, yes, but you've cheered your Creator right up, Vector!*

Vector Prime:

Well, I can sayest with all honesty that I art never /bored/. *Mainly because there's almost always something to -do-. But he likes it like that*

Primus:

I would suggest a vacation, if only I knew you could leave for a few moments without everything falling apart.  *But timestreams don't fix themselves, and such*

Vector Prime:

-ah. Certainly thou dost remember what happened last time.

Primus:

Mm.  Unfortunate, really, but we learned our lesson, at least.

Vector Prime:

I am pleased to report that I hast not touched such high grade since then!

Vector Prime:

*Nervous laugh*

Primus:

*Nervous, hm?*

Primus:

*Looking mildly at Vector*

Vector Prime:

...what?

Primus:

...Nothing.  *Smiles*  I'm just glad you're so honest with me.

Vector Prime:

Always, my liege. *Another bow, though not so flourished as the one before. andwhilehemayhavehadoneortwostrongdrinksit'snothinglikehehadthatonetime*

Vector Prime:

*andthosewereonlywhenhewasreallystressedout*

Vector Prime:

*andhedidn'tmaketimeflowbackwardswiththemsoitwasgood*

Primus:

*Laughs lightly, moving a hand to tap Vector lightly on the head - much like he had with Fallen, but without the don't's*  You don't have to sit around with me for all eternity, you know.  *Kids have busy schedules, don't they?  Lots of parties and stuff, right?*

Vector Prime:

*Wry smile. He knows a you-can-go-now when he hears one. But still, the original reason he returned* Thou art well, then?

Primus:

...I'll be fine, Vector.  Thank you.

Vector Prime:

Then, I wilt see thee again, perhaps soon. *He makes a little jump off the spike he's been sit/standing on, thrusters firing to keep him in place as he opens another portal*

Primus:

I'm always around for you.  *Watches Vector, still reclining, but at least he doesn't look even slightly sad now!*

Vector Prime:

And I thee. Fare thee well, mine lord. *With that, he transforms into his alt-mode, and blasts through the portal. Where he's going - he'll need that speed*
