Gerad Crissean

• Gerad Crissean is a clone of the Jedi Ibran Crissean. Ibran had been in a coma caused by the psychic trauma of experiencing another person's death while he was in their mind. Admiral Rigel Bismarck was informed of the status of the young Jedi and devised a complicated plan to make use of the situation.
• Samples were taken from several parts of Ibran, an attempt to directly replicate body parts instead of simply growing the whole body over from base celluar material. Admiral Bismarck and Doctor Aldren Drucker, the two main figures behind the project, also wiped parts of the flash-learning imprint taken from Ibran's mind and added memory-suppressing, adrenaline-reactant drugs to the clone's system.
• Upon Gerad's awakening on Deominia, he realized that he could not remember anything concrete about who he was or where he was from. As time passed by, he began to recover his memory in bits and pieces and ended up believing himself to be the real Ibran. To make himself useful while in the custody of Domino de Devestator, Gerad was trained in combat techniques.
• During this training, the second half of Bismarck's plan kicked in. When Gerad became angry or aggressive, the drugs were chemically changed to help enhance the clone's memory, thus luring it to the Dark Side during the process. Having recovered from the fits of depression and rage that characterized his awakening, Gerad developed a physical attraction for his training partner, Lady Kyra Takeda of the Deominian nobility. When the clone one day chose himself the new name of Gerad out of the letters from the word "Dagger", Kyra realized that she returned the attraction.
• Kyra went to Domino, seeking permission to form a liason with the clone. Domino granted his permission and thus a formidable team was forged.
• While on the planet of Deominia, Gerad plays at being the chosen champion of the House Takeda. He and Kyra share nearly everything, including a bed, and when Kyra eats a meal that would satisfy her hypermetabolism but would be excessive for Gerad, he avails himself of the facilities inside the palace to continue his training.
• Gerad now stands at 6'4 and weights 190 lbs. His frame is more muscular than the original Ibran's is, and as a result Gerad is very good at taking punishment. He usually wears a dark T-shirt and dark trousers, sometimes with black elbow pads on. Gerad has his shoulder-length black hair tied back most of the time. The only thing he wears outside of his emerald green lightsaber (built and given to him to perpetuate the lie that he is the original Ibran) is a silver wrist chronometer.
• In order to better command himself, Gerad has mastered the art of control. This eliminates the violent mood swings he once had and provides a solid foundation for his Force training. He tends to be a bit sarcastic or dominating in conversations with lesser beings and equals. His superiors recieve what little deference he gives, although only Kyra (and through her, Domino) recieve any true special treatment.
• Gerad has abandoned what he considers his past in favor of his future and his destiny. His role in life is to be the hidden dagger that Domino uses to deliver killing thrusts to the Sith Lord's enemies. His remaining principles are personal and he treasures them highly along with his free will. Those who attempt to learn Gerad's past through him will meet with a threats of pain and death. If the questioner is suitably subservient, Gerad will forgive the transgression.
• For himself, Gerad has no goals. He wishes mostly to please Kyra and Domino. Thinking himself a Jedi, Gerad feels that non-Jedi should bow to his power, although on Deominia he has little authority. The thought has crossed his mind that if he were to marry Kyra and gain authority and status in the eyes of the Deominian populace, his life would be perfect.
