4 chicken breast halves
1/2-cup teriyaki sauce
3/4 cup slivered almonds
3 Tbsp. sesame seeds
1 bag cabbage slaw mix
1 brunch green onions, chopped
2 packages chicken flavor Ramen noodles, raw
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/3 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup Italian dressing
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 flavor packets from the noodles
Marinate the chicken breast halves in teriyaki sauce and grill or broil. Allow to cool and then slice into thin strips or chunks.
Toast the almonds and sesame seeds in a medium skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
In a large bowl, combine slaw, green onions, and broken up Ramen noodles. In a small bowl, combine sugar, vinegar, dressing, pepper, soy sauce and flavor packets. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss to coat evenly. Add chicken, toasted almonds and sesame seeds and toss again. Chill for 2 to 3 hours or overnight before serving.
