1 & ½ cups cornmeal
½ cup flour
4 teaspoons of baking powder
½ tsp. Salt
¼ cup sugar
1-cup milk
1 egg, beaten
1-cup oil
Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix together milk, egg and oil. Add milk mixture to cornmeal mixture and stir only enough to mix. Fill greased baking pan half full. Bake at 425 for 25 minutes.
