1 Lb. Ground Beef
1 15 To 16 Oz. Jar Salsa
1 Can Refried Beans
1 8 Oz. Carton Light Sour Cream
1 Medium Onion, Chopped
2 Cups Tortilla Or Corn Chips
1 Pkg. Taco Seasoning Mix
1 Cup Grated Cheese
Brown beef, onion, and taco seasoning mix; stir in refried beans after burger is cooked. Stir in salsa and sour cream. In 1 & 1/2 or 2 qt. casserole layer half the meat mixture then all of the chips, then remaining meat mixture.
Cook, covered, 1 to 2 minutes until hot in the microwave on high power.
Uncover, sprinkle with cheese. Cook 1 to 2 minutes until cheese melts.
Serving suggestions: top casserole with any of these favorite taco fixin's....shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sour cream, sliced olives, and chopped onions.
