8 oz. wide egg noodles
1and 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 8-oz. cans tomato sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1-cup ricotta cheese
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4-cup dairy sour cream
3-4 green onions, sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Cook noodles according to package directions
Cook ground beef, green pepper, and garlic until beef is brown, drain. Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooked noodles.
Combine ricotta cheese and cream cheese. Add sour cream and green onions.
Layer half of the noodle mixture into a greased, 13x9x2-inch baking dish. Top with the ricotta cheese mixture, and the remaining noodle mixture.
Sprinkle with cheddar cheese
Bake uncovered in a 350-degree oven for 30 minutes, or until heated through.
