1 pkg. German Chocolate Cake Mix
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
Two 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
3/4-cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups dairy sour cream
1/4-cup sugar
1 Tbs. vanilla
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixer bowl, blend cake mix, coconut, butter and 1 egg on low speed until mixture is crumbly. Press very lightly into an ungreased baking pan, 13x9x2".
Beat cream cheese, 2 eggs, sugar and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. Spread over cake mixture. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
Mix sour cream, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 Tbs. vanilla until smooth. Spread over cheesecake. Cool. Refrigerate at least 8 hours. Let sit at room temperature about 1/2 hour before cutting. Serves 20.
