Hair
Know your hair, there is lots of things you can do to transform it but you can't change the texture.
Hair Textures Key:
Straight and limp: A good cut is bob or blunt and long
Curly, Frizzy: Layers work but don't get a blunt cut
Thick and coarse: You can vary lengths to take out the bulk medium to long
Thick and Fine: One length with layers around the face is nice you can go very long and short but growing is painful
A great cut:
Ask around your community about the best Salon and the best Stylist there.
Ask what your perticular hair type is and if there is any one to avoid
You may have to spend more than you would like.
Decide what you want
Make yourself understood
Taking pictures of what you want your hair to look and ask if the ideas are realistic.
Comb wet hair after you shower in the morning, brushing wet can damage
Color Do's and Don'ts:
Don'ts:
Don't boil cool-aid and pour it in your in your hair there is no way to get it out.
Don't use spray in lighteners they MIGHT turn hair orange.
Do's:
You probably will wan't a colorist to do it for you but if you choose to do the job at home be smart about it.
Buy rinse out color or color shampoo
Don't do permanent color at home and expect to be happy with it.
