Robbie Burns Day
On January 25, aka "Robbie Burns Day", which is named after the Scottish Poet, the deviants travelled to Chippewa, Ontario, for a Haggis supper at the Royal Canadian Legion. January 25th is also Rodger's birthday, so it made it even more "special". After downing many an O.V. and taming the Haggis, the highland dancers put on an extraordinary show for us. Following that, a pipes and drums band played all of our favourites, from "Scotland the Brave" to "Mairi's Wedding". Afterwards a grisled old war veteran gave a speech to the entire legion about how choked up he was that we asked to have our picture taken with the Queen and how he thought our generation was shit but we changed his mind. He said we are welcome back any time we want and we don't even have to be members. It was touching to hear it and we deviants are forever grateful. Matthias didn't make it because he had a pity party, and Rodger bowed out early after giving an awning a "Glasgow handshake" and breaking his nose, but the night was one to remember with extreme sloppiness and an impromptu viewing of Braveheart.
Here we are with the drum major. Back row: Callum, $id, Boxcar Brent, Mike

This is the picture the Vet got choked up about. Back Row: $id, Callum, Boxcar Brent, Derek, Glenn. Front Row: Mike, Rodger
Here we are with the lovely highland dancers. One of them said just because she is wearing white, doesn't mean she is pure. I wonder what that means,

A shot of all of the St. Catharines boys. A rare photo indeed.

Callum, Donald Kennedy, and Rodger discuss something or other which is of great importance, no doubt. Perhaps it is the age old question: Who is prettier than Queen Elizabeth? Anyone?
Rodger and Callum are far from bashful when it comes to showing their true colours during or after a Braveheart screening.  These gentlemen are definitely 2 (or more) sheets ot the breeze.....or should I say flags.
