Here we are at Resolutions 1992 in Lake Piru, California. This is, by far, the worst Truck Run I have ever been on. Not only did we get rained on the entire time, but our tent made it into Truckin as an example of how deep the water got! Nothing I owned was dry by morning!
By this time, I had finally ditched those lame mods, and I had the interior carpeted. I installed a basic CD-player system. I also lowered the truck another two inches by flipping the overload on top of the spring. I then put a two inch block on the truck, and switched to after market rubber bump stops. Over-all ride had improved. I also installed a hard toneau cover made of a soft cover and a plywood frame. This turned out to be a good combination, until somewhat sat on the center.
