Your first step will be to jack up the front of your truck, remove the front wheels, and suspend your truck with jack-stands.
Once this has been done, you can install your first piece, the new Calmini cross member. This unit is made of heavy duty steel, and you can feel its strength in its weight.
I couldn't remove the old cross member with a hand ratchet and a breaker bar. We had to use air tools to remove these bolts. If you don't have air tools, now is when you will find out if you really need them!
One draw-back to the new cross member is that it blocks the oil-drain plug on your oil pan. This makes changing your oil a much messier process. Yuk! (Come-on Calmini, I know you can engineer something better!)
