The finished product looks pretty good, even with that trashed Toyota body sitting on it. The next day, I headed out to the mounds, and gave the truck a good run for its money! This thing climbed everything, jumped no problem, and had tons of ground clearance.
I would probably recommend that you use buggy tires in your conversion, as the aggressive truck tread places a large amount of strain on the front dog-bones. This may also be to the fact that I am running the one-way diff in front. If you opt for the larger tires, switch to your stock diff, or even a ball diff. This will help prevent the kind of dog bone breaks that I suffered! (see jumping picture above.)
Maybe an off-road sedan car/truck isn't for you. If you nix the off-road shocks and tires, you can just as easily have a TA-02SW or super wide! Can you imagine how a TA-02 car would handle if it was a whopping two inches wider!
So hack apart your car! Amaze your friends. After all, its all in good fun.
