Tleds (optional)

Instructions:
Intriguing enough!, I'll get right to the point. Tleds is a monitoring package in the ubuntu distro monitoring incoming/outging packets thus illuminating the Number Lock / Scroll Lock acting as Rx/Tx to let us see data as it happens!  Tweaking it is easy, but to make it as real-time as possible set I these on the /etc/tleds.conf file.

#
#       tleds config file.
#

# Set to the interface you wish to monitor.
INTERFACE="eth1"

# Update delay in milliseconds. (see tleds(1))
#DELAY=100
DELAY=10

# Any special args. (see tleds(1))
ARGS=""

The default interface is eth0, and will initially not blink. Change to the active network interface to monitor. (eth1,wlan0) Sorry, must restart.
Delay is 100 by default and is extremely robotically slow. Its like talking on a CB radio, speak first, shut up, let the other speak, shuts up, speak again and so on. Half duplex, terrible!
At 10ms it will resemble the switch on a Cisco router, bits and bytes communicating instantly, like Full Duplex.
At 1ms LEDs are barely lit. The timing is so low, there will be a miniscule blink barely seen to the eye, unless you crawl into a blackhole in space and there you will see the light at the end of the tunnel! So stay inside 10-40ms range in increments of 5.

Arguments, well...  They aren't needed. But for the tleds config to effectively reactivate, must..... unfortunately be after reboot. Don't try logging off/on. Been there done that. Also, killing and restarting tleds will not work. So get the milliseconds right the first time and enjoy monitoring your Wireless connection!
