Environmentalists are concerned with humans' impact on the world's climate and habitat systems. The first step in this journey is simply being eco-conscious. If you are aware of what you are doing, and the effects those actions have on the environment, you are already eco-conscious. Next, you should become involved in the environmental movement. Do not sit idly by and watch as your world collapses! Do something about it. Become informed about the issues which affect your community, your country, the world. Take action. This may be as simple as recycling that empty pop can, reducing the amount of styrofoam your family uses, reusing plastic containers...or by donating time and money to organizations who protect the environment. Form your own grassroots organization to protect your neighborhoods and keep your local community informed.
