Well I guess I really got into it (you know rock) when I was 10 or 11. I found this old Zeppelin 1 cd in the basement and I fired it into the CD player. The only thing I really remember about the whole thing was that the volume was up super loud and in came Good Times, Bad Times. You know the one (the first track from Zeppelin 1) anyways, it was pretty amazing. After that i guess I just sorta slid in with the crowd. Actually at the time i was in grade 6 or 7 and I was the only person there who didn't listen to friggin' Ja Rule or whatever the hell was "in" back then. I picked up a guitar for the first time in music class in grade 6 and stuck to that for a while, I didnt really like at first though; the bloody wanker hurt my fingers so damn much and we were playin some friggin' slave driving songs from the 1800s in the cotton fields.(No seriously my music teacher was racist or somthing). A few months later I picked up my mom's old nylon acoustic and messed around, and a while after that I picked up an electric. Sometime in the beginning of the 8th grade i came across some guy named Trevor Moreau. I asked around and apparently he played a little bit of guitar. It was rather concidental seeing how my drummer Trev(Aitken) and I were in need of a guitarist for our project. So after much discussion we took him under our wing. Later on Simon kinda clung onto us. The rest is history.. I guess..
On a side note: SUM 41 is still gay, and Blink and Newfound Glory are NOT Punk. I hope this clears everything up
