Feb 12, 2004. The Trash in Guelph.
Chris and I drove all the way to FLB's hometown of Guelph to catch the start of their Ontario/Que. tour. We talked to Mikey for along time, which was awesome because I've never really talked to him much before! Fil was like, "What are you doing here?!" haha. Guelph turned out to be my fav. show because they pulled a lot of oldies (but goodies) outta the bag! Amazing, amazing performance! I'm still blown away!

Feb. 20th, 2004. The 360, Toronto
My favourite band at my favourite venue! I finally bought an FLB hoodie (after much deliberation from James) and I took my place at the front of the stage. Amazing set, as always. The new songs are unbelievable!! And again, for the thousandth time, I cannot tell you how NICE they are! Nicest guys ever!

Jan. 22nd, 2004. The Toronto Show tapings
Chris, Jill and I ventured down to Trinity St. to catch the guys' performance on the Toronto Show. Can these guys get any nicer?! They were super sweet! And they remembered me from the Edge show, which was rad. Anyway, we had to sit in the audience and wait a lot, but when FLB played, it was worth it! They played three songs altogether (Patricia, Whoa Man and Ready to Roll). Afterwards, we took some pics with Matt (that you can see right
here) and Fil gave us free shirts as a thank you for coming out! So awesome.

Dec. 14, 2003. Live at the Edge 102.1 Studios
My friend, Chris, and I trekked down to the Edge radio station studios. I thought there would be a pretty good turnout but it was only me, Chris and Bill. Anyway, they were there to be interviewed and do a live acoustic set of two songs (Butterball and Patricia). Extremely nice (AGAIN!) and appreciated us coming down. they signed my 'Running Season' (Fil wrote "Where did you get this? Thank you for coming out to FLB Acoustica!") The performance was so awesome because it was really intimate (like our own private show...*sigh* haha)

Nov. 19, 2003. The Reverb, Toronto
This was my first FLB show after becoming a huge fan. I met Mikey before the show and had him sign my two CD's. After, my friend and I stood at the front of the stage and waited for the show to begin. The show itself was amazing and I was overwhelmed by the fact that, although all of them were sick, they performed an amazing set! Afterward, I got to meet Matt and Tim (for the first time) and Fil. They were all so nice and signed my CD's. ("where did you get this?!") haha. Anyway, it was an awesome night.

October 10th, 2002. The Guvernment, Toronto
I was fortunate enough to go see my favourite band, treble charger, in concert and even more fortunate enough to see Flashlight Brown as openers. I, as well as most of the crowd, had never seen or heard of FLB before that night. And what I saw, I liked very much. Their catchy tunes and amazing stage presence were unbelievable for an Indie band. I was impressed right from the first chord to the last sung note by Matt. I loved their raw, but fun, attitude and the energy that flowed off the stage. Afterwards, I tried my hand in purchasing a CD, but to no luck- all were sold out. But, I did manage to speak to Mikey and Fil (who told me to download their music and burn it....). I was hooked right away.
