Cars 4 Sale
1986 GT5-S, VIN 9399, with approximately 46,000 miles.
Tan leather interior, and red exterior.  Original 10" and 13" Campy wheels with Pirelli tires. This is originally a Florida/Georgia car. The car has been sitting, covered, in a machine shop for the past 8 years, and is very dusty.  Minor body damage occurred at the shop.  These images were taken about 5 years ago.
I want everyone to know that I am NOT going to re-assemble the car in any way, from how it is now. If I wanted to do that, I would keep it. It is an AS IS, WHERE IS deal. I still have the aluminum engine in the car, but that is coming out, if someone wants to buy the car. The engine that goes with the car is currently out, and the suspension had been pulled. To drive this car, the engine needs to be put back in, and the suspension installed.
The suspension was pulled to make entirely new suspension components. I have those about 90% finished. I changed the entire geometry of the front and rear suspension, to make it work better (not included).  All of the suspension pieces have been blasted and painted with black epoxy paint. I am replacing all of the bearings in the rear carriers, just because they are currently apart. I am
also going to replace all of the lower bushings and pins in the carriers. Just to have the carriers rebuilt is $700.
Body
There is no rust on the car.  Minor body damage occurred at the shop.  Details available. As red is hard to match, I suggest a full paint job, the detailed engine bay does not need repainting.
Driveline
Stock 86 Cleveland engine aluminum intake and Holley 780 Vacuum secondary carb.
New clutch and Polished ZF. The original engine ran very well, when I pulled it out. But, I have no idea what the internals are like. I did pull the pan to put on my new engine and everything looked fine inside of the engine. The original engine has been sitting in my heated garage, covered, ever since the day I pulled it out. I have never even pulled a valve cover. The original  owner said that he had the engine rebuilt at about 35,000 miles, but I never checked, and I just took it with a grain of salt.
Interior
Complete new Tan Leather Interior, including carpeting, dash, headliner and front trunk carpeting. It originally had a white interior and I changed it to tan.
I want $43,500 FIRM for the car, which is a fair price. I'll have some more images in the condition it is now within the next few days. You may "E" mail me at [email protected].
This image shows the quality of the engine bay, the engine shown is not included.
