| "This June 1971 Pantera is located in NH. Looked at the car today. She is firm on her price. The lower rocker panel on the driver side has pin holes from rust. The frame has been heavily undercoated and looks like it has been since factory. Did the factory do this?? No rust issues noticed at the rear a frame area. Previous owner had an electrical problem and couldnt figure it out . Sold it to the father of the present owner. He took rear bumpers, engine front covers , and electrical panel under dash off. Thats as far as he got since he purchased in 81!! Gonna get to it some day, RIGHT.. Vin number is THPNLY01649 Yellow car build date 6/71 Tag on cowl says Detomaso 877 Sending many pics. If anyone is interested I will pass on the phone number. Would like to get a $200.finders fee. Dave 603-466-5407 |

| Mike Drew reports: Hi Guys, Got touched by a Shelby guy named Dave who went and looked at a '71 Pantera for sale in New Hampshire. It's been sitting stationary since 1981, has some rust issues, but the asking price is only $17,500 which seems extremely fair. He sent me a dozen photos; looks to be all there, in need of some TLC. Has rocker panel rust, may have chassis rust but he says he didn't see any. (Of course, he's not a Pantera guy so perhaps he doesn't know where to look?) The car is bone stock, wearing L-model Campys and Arrivas. |
