On your walk home, you spot a black canine creature. You remember lost dog flyers stappled to telephone poles. They said something about a missing black lab... and a reward for finding the dog. The dog spots you and leaps into the shadows and trots to the old, abandoned barn. You follow it, wanting a better look at it. Inside the barn, you see the dog sitting in a pile of old hay. Dispite the darkness you are able to tell that this was not a black lab. Infact... your not even sure its a dog...?!

The dog...er...jacklite doesn't seem to fear you at all. Infact it is quite friendly. It's unusually colored tail wags fiercely as it rubs against your legs. You scratch it's ear until it rolls onto its back for you to rub her tummy. After a moment you notice that this isnt the only strange creature here... in the pile of hay is a green lump. You stand up and the female cocks her haid as if you ask if you were done petting her. You walk to the hay to find another jacklite... this one green in color with a small tree marking.

After petting Ceven for a while, another Jacklite pops its head out of the haystack. It yawns and then freezes. It stares at you with a questioning look. It cocks it's head and eyes Gypsy. Out of the corner of your eye you see Gypsy nod, as if approving you. The third creature yawns again and lays its head back down in the hay, with it's eyes closed. After a moment of watching the creature sleep, something strange dawns on you: This creature ws obviously male, but was a calico, which are almost always female...
