One of the most beautiful things I could possibly see and I'm not allowed. "Why not?" you ask. The answer is simple. Well, ok, it's not, but that''s not the point. The point is: I'm going to use this page to tell you why not.
I've always thought I should watch the sunset and sunrise, ever since I was too young to know what they meant. One evening while I was staying at my dad's and I was home alone Phenomenon was on TV. For some reason I decided to watch the sunset during commercial breaks, my dad has an AWESOME location for watching the sunset, or for sitting outside reading or just about anything, there are like no trees anywhere. I love it. But I was watching Phenomenon and watching the sunset waiting for someone to get home, and the combination of the two was working wonders on me. At about 8:30 the sun was still setting, the sky was orange and pink with the darker purple behind me and above, and I said (outloud if anyone cares) "I'm never doing this alone again" That means (I think) that I'm never watching the sunset or Phenomenon alone again. Since then I've added the sunrise to that statement so since I'm not going to make a liar of myself I can't watch any of them alone again. Now before anyone gets any bright ideas alone doesn't mean physical company per se, friends don't count for this one, nor does family. I used to walk around sunset (you know that if you read my life story) but until it got dark or I turned back toward home I made myself keep my eyes on the ground ahead of me, never the sky or the horizon. So now you know something that you've probably never wondered about...and probably could have lived without knowing quite happily your entire life, but this site is about me and so is that.
