Welcome to my humble homepage. It's new and still under construction.
I am a physician, and a board certified psychiatrist practicing in the public sector, hospital-based, in southern Oregon.
My interests are wide and changing. More durably, I am fond of amateur philosophy (isn't it all?); writing (especially screenplays) computer art; and computer and electronic tinkering. But most of all, I'm (quixotically) dedicated to trying to change the world!
Regarding the latter, I do what I can to promote the related philosophies of determinism, and naturalism. I am the founder of the Yahoo! club "determinism".

I am also working toward developing a "retirement career" involving teaching, writing, cartoon animation and computer graphics. In this way, I can use my hobbies to do what I love most, perhaps help change the world for the better in the bargain (and maybe even make a little money at the same time to supplement my fixed income). As someone once said, "Find a job you love and you'll never have to work another day in your life."
