| Look at the parents in this day and age. Old and senile, most often in a drunken rage. Maybe when they were younger they had a mind of their own. But now they must reap the seeds they have sown. They were quite young, and so in love. There was no obstacle they couldnt stand above. They thought having kids would be a great idea. But know it is us they loathe and fear. From young they looked down at us with contempt. Watching as their bank accounts emptied from the money they spent. Watching us grow, watching us change. From their little darling angels to something quite strange. Sure they say that they love you, but it is all a lie. They resented you from the day you were born to the day you will die. We exist only to leech. Feeding off of them until they beg, they beseech. Stop, please! We can give no more. They crawl on their knees, they are weak. We abhor. Cast them off to the darkness of space. Now they are no longer needed, and all this is our place. They gave us their life, we took it and more. They never even knew what we had in store. They gave us clothes, they gave us food. They said they loved us, they said we were good. But time passed, and with our eyes they did see. They never really ever cared for me. I was a burden on their cross. A stone in their shoe. Too late they learned the meaning of that which was true. After they gave us everything, and we cast them off. After we take their lives, and laugh and scoff. Then will they see what it means to have kids. And they will wish that all infants had SIDS. Your music is new, your music is strange. It is something far beyond their range. Your friends are so strange, they do weird things. But they know now what the harbinger brings. A lie of pain, a life of woe. Stealing their life, stealing their glow. Every cent, every minute, every day. Oh they will suffer, and they will so pay. We are all mistakes. Never meant to be. And when I look at myself that is what I always see. A failure, just like the rest. No matter how hard I try I can never be the best. I always err, I always fall. I cry out, but they turn away from my call. They said its because they loved me so. And for that reason they must let me go. The world is full of corruption and sin. They think it is all without, but it is all within. Within their minds, within their souls. Disfigured and barren, littered with holes. And still they produce, they make more each day! Never understanding the price they must pay. But oh, they will soon enough, when the time is right. When they are too weak to put up a fight. When they are sealed in their coffin, beneath the grave. Where are their lectures then? Who will tell you to behave? No one! For you are full and complete. Filled with the hate, lies and deceit. Going on to make more and more. Until we are drowned by the score. This is how it has always been. The people giving birth to their kin. Passing on their imperfections, their foul stench. From our very souls the goodness they do wrench! The time has come. The time is now. This is what we must do, and this is how. We must teach with purity, love so true. So this does not ever happen to you. Time is a river, all things do repeat. But I know if we try we can overcome this feat. We can change history, we can change time. We can stop this heinous crime. Work with me, together as one. It shant be easy, and it shant be fun. But we will look back and smile and nod. We will have done it. There is a God. |
